Show Menu

Work is almost finished on upgrading the track at Hill (formerly Hill Siding) and Spruce.

At Hill: the tunnel, siding and old roadbed were removed. A new stone retaining wall built, new roadbed installed and the re-aligned mainline laid.

At the curve between Hill and Spruce: the old roadbed and most of the old retaining wall were removed. A new stone retaining wall built, new roadbed installed and a larger radius curve laid. Some repair to the landscaping will be required.

At Spruce: the old roadbed and retaining wall were removed. A new stone retaining wall built, new roadbed installed, the re-aligned mainline, new passing siding, new long spur, and two spurs for MacKenzie Lumber were laid.
